Barometer 29.9, temperature 60 degrees. Ceiling 1000' in rain fog and wildfire smoke, visibility a scant 10 miles with dense wildfire smoke over the Alatna Hills. Visibility varies from 3 miles to 10. There is a fire south of the Malemute Fork, east of the Alatna River. We called it in and a helicopter came out to assess.
