We built it, we own it, we run it

Iniakuk Lake Wilderness Lodge is an exclusive luxury wilderness lodge catering to a clientèle seeking elegance and independence in Alaska's Far North. We are located 225 miles north of Fairbanks in the heart of Alaska's Brooks Range. There are no roads up here, no cell phone towers and we are a fly-in only destination, so you get to see a part of Alaska free of cruise boats and tour buses.

The lodge is our home and remote Alaska is our way of life. We built it, we own it, we run it, since 1974, so it's personal and that's how we treat our clientèle.

We specialize in small group sizes to show you Alaska at your own pace. Relax in the morning, there are no lines, only hot coffee waiting outside your door.

Go hiking when you want to, you will have a guide available any time, on your schedule. Our all-inclusive packages begin and end in Fairbanks so we take care of the details including fly-out fishing, hiking, flight-seeing and overnight trips to our private cabins inside Gates of the Arctic National Park.

We'll ask you to take your shoes off when you come inside and then we'll tell you how the lodge was built, by hand, one log at a time. The meals are hand-crafted too and you'll enjoy fresh king salmon, sourdough blueberry pancakes and other local delicacies served family-style at a common dining table.

Enjoy the blog, we take our own pictures, and if you have any questions; we answer our own phone and emails too and can customize any tour to fit your needs.
