Update1: Iniakuk Lake Weather, Brooks Range, Alaska

Trend: Improving. Heavy morning fog is burning off. Ceiling 4000', visibility 6 miles. There are large patches of morning fog in low lying areas (like all the way up the Alatna Valley). Lots of moisture in the air. Sky overhead is brightening up. South wind at 3 knots.

Barometer 29.5, temperature 48 degrees. Ceiling zero due to morning fog, visibility 5 miles and I can see part of the Alatna Hills. Looking north up the Alatna Valley is socked in. SE winds just kicked up at 5 knots. I will post when the fog burns off.

Trend: Not improving. Ceiling zero, visibility zero. Slight north wind looks like it might be switching soon.

Barometer 29.6, temperature 38 degrees. Ceiling undefined 500' with rain fog. Visibility 4 miles constantly changing with rain fog. It poured all night, there was snow on both ridges. It's raining. Winds calm.

Trend: Continuing to shut down. Ceiling 2000' and dropping, becoming rain fog obscured. Visibility 5 miles, cannot see the Alatna Hills. It's raining. Winds calm.

Update1: Iniakuk Lake Weather, Brooks Range, Alaska

Trend: Going Down. The wind is coming across Iniakuk Lake from the south like a freight train blowing a good 15 to 20 knots. The Alatna Hills have that wintry white look, visibility is deteriorating. It's starting to rain, waves are crashing on the beach.
