Iniakuk Lake Weather, Brooks Range, Alaska

Barometer 30.3, temperature 40 degrees. Ceiling unlimited except for moderate smoke haze. Visibility 5 miles. A smoke bank over the Alatna Hills is retreating for the moment, and improving visibility, but dense smoke has prevailed for the last 24 hours. Winds calm.
