Iniakuk Lake Weather, Brooks Range, Alaska

Barometer 30.1, temperature 60 degrees. Ceiling 6000' overcast, visibility 10 miles. Wind calm.

Early yesterday evening an epic system moved through. Faraway thunder kept coming closer and louder, then the sky turned black, winds of at least 20 knots blew up smoke from the Alatna Valley, followed by pelting rain. Thank you rain!
