Barometer 30.2, temperature 40 degrees. Ceiling and visibility unlimited, not a cloud to be seen. Wind from the north at 2 knots.
The past two days were spent trouble shooting our HughesNet Satellite Internet. The system status showed nothing but red flags. Fortunately we had a very capable person in Ben, from Black Rapids Lodge, who changed out the radio arm (we happened to have a backup). He found a critical component cracked and filled with water, thereby causing the illusion of a huge rain cloud blocking transmission and reception. The component had the durability of a communion wafer which makes no sense for equipment that is out in weather all the time. Be advised!
