Iniakuk Lake Weather, Brooks Range, Alaska

Barometer 30.1, temperature 60 degrees. Ceiling 5000' broken with thick smoke. Visibility 3 miles with thick smoke. Winds calm.

Iniakuk Fire: Additional Smokejumpers came to the lodge yesterday to GPS the place for laying out hose, pumps and sprinklers. The fire sparked up again in early afternoon racing up a ravine behind Mt. Hal Waugh only to run out of fuel at the top.

Smoke density this morning is intense.
