Barometer 30.4, temperature 40 degrees. Ceiling and visibility zero due to dense morning fog. Winds calm.
BLM AKFS flew out yesterday in their helicopter to pick up the point protection - pumps, hoses and sprinklers. There is one stubborn fire puffing away, but for the most part Iniakuk Lake Fire 320 for 2016 is out. Many thanks to BLM AKFS, their Incident Commanders, fire fighters, smoke jumpers, Leading Edge Aviation and the Gannett Glacier Hotshots for a tremendous effort.
