Iniakuk Lake Fire and Weather, Brooks Range, Alaska

Barometer 29.9, temperature 54 degrees. Ceiling 4000' undefined due to rain fog and smoke. Visibility 5 miles with rain fog and smoke. New word for today is rain fog. It is sprinkling. Winds calm.

Iniakuk Fire Update: The SE wind continues to blow, fires continue to crawl ever closer. BLM AKFS put up a weather station close by to keep an eye on conditions here. The last helicopter left yesterday so we're on our own to watch the fires.
