Iniakuk Lake Fire and Weather, Brooks Range, Alaska

Barometer 30.2, temperature 54 degrees. Ceiling 6000' slight overcast and smoke. Visibility 5 miles with dense smoke over the Alatna Hills. SE winds at 5 knots.

Iniakuk Fire Update: Another hot day with temperatures in the high 80's and brisk SE then west winds kept the east ridge fires going. NOAA is reporting cooler temperatures and some rain which would make a huge difference.
