Iniakuk Lake Fire and Weather, Brooks Range, Alaska

Barometer 30.1, temperature 58 degrees. Ceiling 6000' scattered, visibility 5 miles with dense smoke at the south end of Iniakuk Lake over the Alatna Hills. North winds at 10 knots.

Iniakuk Fire Update: A section of the east ridge closest to Iniakuk Lodge started to heat up last night. Rain is the only thing that will put this fire out. And we wait for rain.
