Barometer 30.2, temperature 48 degrees. Ceiling unlimited, visibility to the north unlimited, to the south 10 miles with a thick bank of smoke forming over the Alatna Hills. Slight north wind.
Iniakuk Fire Update: The fire is laying low but continues to munch on trees and lichen on the east ridge. There is little rain in the forecast and we hope that changes. Thick smoke is visible at the south end of Iniakuk Lake where the fire advances slowly.
