Iniakuk Lake Fire and Weather, Brooks Range, Alaska

Barometer 29.9, temperature 38 degrees. Ceiling and visibility zero due to dense morning fog. Slight north wind at 3 knots.

Iniakuk Fire Update: Cooler temperatures are keeping the fires down, but not out. About 85% of the East ridge has burned in a mosaic, up and down pattern. We need some of the Fairbanks rain.
